The 2016 Water Research Symposium brings together HDR students undertaking research on water related topics from different schools within RMIT University.
The symposium is organised by the postgraduate research students of the Water: Effective Technologies and Tools (WETT) Research Centre and provides HDR students undertaking various water related projects a fun and friendly environment to present their research work and network with their peers.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. There will also be a keynote presentation from an industry representative.

Abstracts and registration
Interested students are requested to submit an abstract online following this template (DOC, 24 KB, 1 page) by Wednesday, 12 October 2016. 12 students will be selected for oral presentations by the review panel, with the remaining students undertaking a poster presentation.
All submissions will be reviewed, with reviewed abstract submission to be completed by Wednesday, 26 October 2016. When students receive feedback from the review panel, they will be informed if they are selected for an oral presentation or poster presentation.
The three main research themes include (but are not limited to):
- Biosolids and bioenergy
- Water and wastewater treatment
- Water resources and management
There will be prizes for the two best oral presentations and the two best poster presentations.
