non/fictionLab is currently running the Writers Immersion and Cultural Exchange program in conjunction with the Copyright Agency.
This program contributes to an Asia-Pacific community of writers, sparking networks and connections and raising the professional profile of writers across the region. The WrICE program brings together a new group of five Australian and five Asian writers each year for a face-to-face collaborative residency in Asia followed by a reciprocal event in Melbourne at the Melbourne Writers Festival. The second WrICE collaborative residency took place in Vietnam in February 2015 and will again be followed by activity later in the year in Melbourne, in association with the Melbourne Writers Festival.
