Key Activities

An intuitive object maker, whose work has its origins in an observation of the non-utilitarian aspects of the familiar, ordinary objects, gestures and actions mostly encountered in daily life.

Ass. Dip. 1973; Grad. Dip. 1978.

Research Interest

Primarily, object based work in its relation to exhibition practice, together with the inevitable interface between old and new, low and high technologies in object making, at both undergraduate and post graduate level.

Exhibitions

  • Research outputs for 2005 have been the participation in 2 group exhibitions and the on going production of studio work for solo exhibition in 2006/07.
  • 16 solo exhibitions since 1977 (1996, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2004 - Stephen McLaughlan Gallery)
  • 17 group exhibitions since 1975
