My main interest is in the use of quantitative techniques to solve management problems. This has involved a wide range of mathematical techniques including differential equations, optimization, column generation, sensitivity analysis, model simplification and order reduction. In the application area I am particularly interested in problems relating to the conservation and sustainable utilisation of natural resources.
