"Paul Mercieca"

Paul has developed skills in information management, digital publishing, commercial consultancy services and higher education provision. These skills have been developed through leadership positions in information organisations, commercial publishing house and now through the Business Faculty at RMIT University. These roles have lead to strategic placement of new services or products, whichinclude:

  • the development of an Internet focused consultancy service, which provided knowledge management and interface design advice to government and semi-government agencies
  • the development of online publishing business models that are promoted under the brandingEducational Resources & Information Network (ERIN)
  • the development of an aggregated Australian digital publishing solution for database and full text journals - Informit Online.
  • the instigation of an internet presence for a major regional information service, through the development of the South-East Melbourne Internet Link (SEMIL)
