Request a campus visit or presentation for your students to find out more about RMIT programs and student life.
We offer campus visits and presentation for secondary school students in Year 9–12. To request a visit or presentation, please complete the Student Recruitment events request form.
On campus visits and presentations at RMIT
Request a campus visit, which includes a presentation about RMIT’s range of study options, pathways, work experience, global opportunities and the diversity of campus life.
- At the City campus students will participate in the RMIT Race, a 20 minute challenge where students get to see what it’s like around the city campus. Duration (presentation and RMIT Race) is approximately 60 minutes.
- At the Bundoora and Brunswick Campuses students will have a tour of the campus and its facilities. Duration (presentation and tour) is approximately 60 minutes.
Off campus presentations
The Student Recruitment Team can visit your school to deliver a 30 minute presentation providing information on RMIT’s range of study options, pathways, work experience, global opportunities and the diversity of campus life.
If you have a group of students interested in a specialised area, request an academic speaker to present either at your school or at one of our campuses.
At our Bundoora or Brunswick campuses it may be possible to combine the presentation with a campus tour.
School expo attendance
Request a RMIT representative to attend your school expo, careers day or community expo, to provide information on RMIT programs, pathways, facilities, services and campus life.
Other expos and events
RMIT runs free student experience days in the first week of the Victorian school holidays between term two and three. These events are specifically designed for students in Years 10–12 to engage in hands on workshops, explore life on campus and get behind the scenes to experience different aspects of a discipline they are interested in. Find out more about upcoming experience days.
The Student Recruitment team also coordinates RMIT study and career events, such as:
- Change of Preference Expo
- Career Advisers' Seminar
RMIT also participates in many of Melbourne’s major career and employment expos throughout the year. These include the Melbourne Careers Expo, the VCE and Careers Expo and Tertiary Information Services (TIS) events. TIS is a cooperative venture between Victorian universities, TAFE institutes and independent tertiary colleges that provides Year 12 students with information regarding options for further study.
