Bachelor of Software Engineering
Considering my affinity for technology and engineering, RMIT seemed like the logical choice, and after extensive research, I decided that RMIT is the place I want to be.
After studying computing in secondary school, I became obsessed with learning new things and I found complex systems fascinating.
RMIT University is held with high regard in South East Asia. Considering my affinity for technology and engineering, RMIT seemed like the logical choice, and after extensive research, I decided that RMIT is the place I want to be.
A recent project I undertook involved researching high level software architecture where I learnt the proper practices of academic research. Using the experience gained from this project, I have now acquired an internship at one of Australia’s leading mobile development companies as a mobile application developer.
At RMIT, I have met a diversity of great people and acquired life-changing relationships that have greatly impacted my education, and personal life.
Through my studies I have learnt to approach problems in a logical way by breaking down these problems and analysing them. I have also gained valuable communication and interpersonal skills through working in teams and volunteering my time as an academic mentor.
On top of my studies I am involved with student mentoring, tutoring and the Japan Club. I love meeting new people and believe that it enhances my university social life.
If you have a wide variety of interests and enjoy creating new things then the Bachelor of Software Engineering gives you the tools and experiences needed to realise your goals.
In the future I would like to work as a Software Engineer for a world recognised technology company at the forefront of the latest technological advancement.
