At RMIT, the world is your classroom. We offer you an education that will equip you for success and inspire you to transform your future.
Your RMIT experience will take you beyond the expected, expose you to new and different ideas, and give you the knowledge and creativity to respond to challenges and make a difference.
How you’ll learn
Collaborating with industry and communities is central to our teaching, learning and research. We work closely with industry partners to ensure our programs are always aligned to the current and future needs of professions, industries and organisations.
Industry-based learning will be at the heart of your education experience. You’ll gain practical experience, personal development and strong employment prospects via:
- real or simulated industry projects for real clients
- local and overseas work placements
- field trips, and clinical and studio practice
- mentoring from industry professionals.
Classes include a combination of work integrated learning and lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops, guest talks, practical, lab work or studio practice.
Your RMIT experience will also be characterised by engagement with global issues and opportunities to see the world through different eyes. We encourage you to complete part of your study at one of our Vietnam campuses, partner institutions or take a work placement with one of our international industry partners.
If you’re a research candidate, you’ll be part of an active research community from day one. You’ll learn from experienced research supervisors who will help you to develop your research skills and knowledge.
Whatever your pathway, with an RMIT qualification, you’ll grow your knowledge, gain industry-honed skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
