You may be eligible for advanced standing based on in your previous studies and relevant work experience.
If you have completed courses from the following programs, you may be eligible for credit on a course by course basis:
If you have a bachelor degree in aerospace engineering or aviation (equivalent to AQF 7) you may be able to receive 24 credit points of exemptions if successful in gaining a place. If you have additional relevant work experience you may receive up to 96 credit points of exemptions.
If you have an honours degree, in aerospace engineering or aviation (equivalent to AQF 8) you may be able to receive between 48 and 96 credit points of exemptions
If you have a degree or degree with honours, in any field you may receive between 24 and 96 credit points of exemptions, depending on your work history.
Note: Exemptions cannot be used to exit with a Graduate Diploma.
You can gain entry to the Master of Science (Aviation) from a range of RMIT undergraduate programs. Learn more about RMIT undergraduate programs.
You may be eligible for advanced standing up to a maximum of 2 semesters (equivalent to 96 credits points). Eligibility for advanced standing is based on your previous studies and relevant work experience and is assessed on a case by case basis.
