Graduates of the RMIT Associate Degree in Applied Science biomedical science stream with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 out of 4.0 are guaranteed entry with credit of one year (equivalent to 120 credit points).
Graduates of the following RMIT programs may also be eligible for exemptions if successful in gaining a place:
You are guaranteed entry to the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from a range of RMIT programs. Successful completion and the grades you achieve determine the amount of credit you will receive.
If you achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the Associate Degree in Applied Science Biomedical Sciences major and complete the pre-requisite course, you will receive 2 semesters of advanced standing (equivalent to 120 credit points). The pre-requisite course is ONPS2164 Medicines, Drugs and Poisons.
If you achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 in either of the following programs, you will receive 2 semesters of advanced standing (equivalent to 96 credit points):
- Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Biotechnology)
- Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Pathology Testing)
When you successfully complete the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences you may be eligible for entry to the following programs:
