There are no minimum academic requirements.
You must include in your application a statement that outlines:
- your reasons for wanting to study this program
- details of any experience (paid or unpaid) in supervised learning support roles (e.g education support worker, child care worker, home/volunteer tutor or similar role)
Interview: Some applicants will be contacted by phone or email in order to obtain a better understanding of their background and their potential to succeed in the program.
Working With Children Check: You will be required to complete a Working with Children Check prior to commencement of the program or before going on placement.

Develop skills and knowledge to work closely and collaboratively with teachers as well as students with special needs. Qualify in the pathway to becoming a teacher.
