This program consists of 14 core courses and 4 elective courses.
- case management
- community development
- effective communication
- mental health
- crisis intervention
- legal and ethical issues
- how to plan and conduct group activities
- how to engage with at risk youth.
You will obtain the Mental Health First Aid (Youth) certificate as part of this program.
Electives allow you to develop additional skills in:
- First Aid (Level 2 certificate)
- working in trauma informed care
- alcohol and other drugs issues
- case management.
