There are no minimum requirements.
- complete and submit the 2017 Professional Writing and Editing pre-selection kit by 5pm Thursday 29 September (timely applicants). Late applications will be considered.
- attend an interview (some applicants). If you are required to attend you will be contacted via email in November. Interviews will be held in November/December.
Overseas or interstate applicants who are unable to attend, must email email@example.com by 25 November.
Advisory letters will be sent in late December.
Some applicants will be selected based on their pre-selection kit. These applicants are not required to attend an interview and will receive an advisory letter in November.
Pre-selection kit requirements
The on-line pre-selection kit requires:
- an applicant statement of no more than 500 words outlining your interests in writing and editing for the workplace and
- a 1000 word sample of writing ideally non-fiction or factual writing
