The operational aspects of managing RMIT are delegated to the Vice-Chancellor and President, who is supported by senior executives who provide advice on policy and administrative matters.
RMIT University is governed in accordance with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Act 2010, which defines the responsibilities of the Council and Academic Board.
