The Strategy and Governance Portfolio provides strong integrated support for strategic development, governance, and business planning for the University.
The Portfolio is led by the Vice-President Strategy and Governance and incorporates the following groups:
Office of Vice Chancellor: responsible for support to the Vice-Chancellor and President in all aspects of their work.
Strategy and Analytics: responsible for University’s planning cycle, including strategy refresh, unit planning and the delivery of the Annual Operating Plan, along with providing strategic consulting services and delivery of business intelligence, analytics and insights.
VC Advisory: supports the influencing of government policy and the development and delivery of strategic initiatives.
Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO): oversees the effective implementation and governance of the University’s strategic projects, from pipeline prioritisation to project assurance and review.
Compliance, Regulation and Reporting: responsible for overseeing and supporting quality assurance and compliance across all RMIT points of presence.
Secretariat: responsible for governance services and secretariat support for the RMIT Council, its subcommittees and University companies.
Office of Strategy & Governance: supports the Vice President with planning and resource management, provides chancellery support services and information management and archives services.
Internal Audit and Risk Management: The Internal Audit and Risk Management group is responsible for coordinating risk management activities within the University.
