Adam Steiner (He/Him – Wurundjeri land) is the RUSU President for 2022. In his fourth year of a Bachelor of International Studies, Adam has a keen interest in social and policy change to support students and young people. Since the start of 2022, in his role as Student President, Adam has been working to support students returning to university to re-build community and a sense of connection to campus and RMIT. Planning and running a plethora of events, of all sizes, to kick start student’s reengagement with the university. In his time as a student Adam has consistently pushed himself to have greater involvement in RMIT, involving himself with many clubs and finding himself on the executive of some clubs, both social and academic.

As RUSU president Adam has represented and advocated for RMIT students at many different levels of the university. Adam has a strong passion for advocacy and in his time in RUSU has fought for better conditions for students at all levels of the university, including Academic board and its sub – committees, various committees and working groups. And he is looking forward to what he can achieve for the remainder of 2022.
