Ms Melissa Sweetland is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Engagement and Vice-President

Melissa Sweetland was appointed Deputy Vice Chancellor and Vice President Engagement in August 2018 following a diverse career.  She joined RMIT from The Riverina Dairy where she was CEO.  Melissa earlier worked at Hume Bank – a successful mutual bank based in regional Australia.

Prior to this Melissa held a number of Vice President roles at GE Money, including Vice President Marketing and Vice President Strategic Planning.  She was also a management consultant both in London and Melbourne where she focused on the human aspect of Change Management. 

Melissa is a chartered accountant having started her career at Price Waterhouse.
