A multi-disciplinary team with cutting edge facilities looking to engage with others.
RMIT’s Behavioural Business Lab (BBL) brings together researchers from different business related disciplines who share an interest in understanding economic and business issues in terms of individual choice. We actively seek national and international engagement with other researchers, businesses, and public organisations to collaborate on research, apply findings, and shape policy.
Behavioural business research bridges the traditional boundaries between the social sciences by recognising the regularities in human behaviour irrespective of context. Behavioural researchers study the economy and business through the lens of decision making processes, mainly using empirical methods such as experiments that help generate new theories of social behaviour.
Our mission is to promote behavioural business research at RMIT to beneficially impact our stakeholders in academia, business, public policy and the wider community.
The RMIT Behavioral Business Lab is housed in the Swanston Academic Building (SAB), which is located at RMIT Building 80, 445 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000, Australia. Some of the lab’s work is conducted in the RMIT Trading Facility, a world class research and teaching facility.
If you would like to register to participate in some of our experiments, then please enter your details at our registration page.
