Johanna’s research interests centre around combining experimental methods from psychology and consumer behaviour for investigating mechanisms behind intercultural communication and behaviour.
PhD (Consumer Behaviour)
Johanna Prasch is a PhD student in the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing. She completed her Master’s degree in psychology from the University of Bamberg, Germany, in 2017.
Currently, Johanna is investigating the mechanisms behind racism, using experimental methods from psychology and consumer behaviour. She is particularly interested in researching ways to reduce racism.
Prior to joining RMIT as a PhD student, Johanna undertook a research internship at RMIT as part of her Master’s degree. Knowing the great academic team and the inspiring work environment already, Johanna’s choice for joining RMIT as a PhD student was inevitable.
