Students developed day-to-day content including interviews, creative writing, criticism, opinion, profiles, photography and investigative journalism.
Work was published across print (more than 3000 copies daily), three digital platforms, and for ABC radio live cross.
The Gazette activities significantly increased community participation in the Festival’s program.
Researched, written, edited and designed by professional writing and editing students for international students, the guide incorporates student reviews of Melbourne restaurants and tourist attractions. The G’Day book launched as part of RMIT's Orientation Week in February 2016. Guide Melbourne is the second publication of G’Day, launched in 2017, with a print run of 3000-5000 copies.
