This project draws together a range of interdisciplinary national and international researchers – traditional and practice-based – to develop new approaches to maternal research.
With focus on? research methods, practices and social impact, it explores areas such as maternal subjectivity and identity, and cultural representations and differences, raising awareness of the particularities and complexities of mothering embedded in Australian society – and beyond.
