Employment opportunities

RMIT is on the hunt for education professionals looking to join the School of Education in leadership positions.

RMIT’s School of Education is currently in an exciting growth phase. We invite experienced educators with a growth mindset, and passion for and commitment to learning, to help us shape the school of the future.

As part of this future orientation, we are looking for talented professionals to help build our expertise in key areas including: early childhood education, health, PE and sports, and mathematics education.

Successful applicants will be experienced in the provision of innovative and effective education in pre-service and post-initial contexts of education. They will contribute actively to program teams and play a key role in the development of high-quality program design and improvement.

RMIT strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons. If you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and you would like to have a confidential discussion about your future career with RMIT before applying, please contact Professor Mark McMillan, Deputy PVC Indigenous Education and Engagement.

Apply now and be a part of a growing, imaginative learning environment that’s helping to shape the minds of tomorrow.

When you join the School of Education, you become part of a team that is collegial and collaborative, and provides creative dual-sector space for learning, teaching and research.

Our aim is to develop educators with the knowledge, skills and capabilities to create transformative student learning experiences. We recognise the value of education that is relevant and innovative and works actively with industry, government and community partners.

The School of Education provides multi-literacy and multi-age education, from early years programs to professional education, with research focused on work, citizenship and partnerships.

This is a rare opportunity to become a part of the enterprising and student-centred culture of education at RMIT, a University that fosters innovative, global and multidisciplinary approaches.
