This program started in 1985 with the view to growing our own future property professionals and to provide Knight Frank with opportunities to employ qualified and experienced graduates.
The program runs between February and October each year and is generally completed during your final year of tertiary study in Property.
Working 3 days per week (typically Tue. – Thu.), you will rotate through four divisions of the business working 9 weeks in each (Property Management, CBD Leasing, Valuations and Commercial/Industrial Agency). Within these rotations you will also gain exposure to other areas of our business.
You will have a Mentor in each area who will provide supervision as well as regular two-way feedback opportunities. A daily rate is paid, plus leave and superannuation. These positions are based in our Melbourne Collins Street office with opportunities to work in our other locations during the rotations.
On a day-to-day basis you may be involved in site visits, client meetings, property research, assisting with auction campaigns, managing the property database system, tenant insurances, reviewing leases, measuring from plans and contributing to valuation reports.
At the conclusion of the program in late October, one student is awarded a scholarship based on their performance during the 36 week program and feedback from mentors and managers. This award consists of $2000 and a guaranteed job offer. We endeavour to offer other students permanent roles if there are opportunities that match student preferences.
