Support our Collections and Archives

Please donate to our RMIT Cultural Collections to give our students and community access to art and archives that inspire and support them in their work. Your donation will preserve culturally significant items central to our history and identity for generations to come.

For over 120 years, RMIT has been collecting art, textiles, objects and research archives that capture the essence of Melbourne's history and Australian culture.

The arrival of the pandemic cut students, researchers and the RMIT community off from RMIT’s Cultural Collections and highlighted the need for us to continue digitising our cultural assets for the access and enjoyment of current and future generations.

You can make a difference to the conservation and digitisation of our invaluable RMIT Cultural Collections by donating to ensure essential digital access for students and academics well into the future.

Digitisation is a slow and labour-intensive task, needing to be done just right – and by the right people – for the best results.

With your support, RMIT Cultural Collections will engage highly-skilled digitisation experts to preserve and digitise their cultural assets so generations to come can enjoy and learn from them.

Please donate today to support the digitisation of RMIT’s Cultural Collections so they can inspire and inform more students, researchers and art lovers now and into the future.
