Karen Carter is currently Lecturer in the Advertising program at RMIT University.
Her Masters focused on e-learning and e-commerce, and her current PhD research maintains that interest in the effectiveness of advertising via digital media; iTV, mobile telephones and the Internet.
Karen holds a Masters in Internet Studies from the Curtin University Perth, and a Diploma in Art and Design.
Prior to teaching, Karen worked in design and advertising. Her broad visual communication experience ranges from illustration, graphic design, art direction to multimedia and web design.
