Dr Abhijit Date's research involves work in areas like heat transfer (heat pipes, vapour chambers), Thermodynamics (low temperature heat engines and water desalination), Renewable energy (Hydro-electricity turbines, concentrated solar PV and solar thermal systems, geothermal energy, solar chimney).
