Dr Christopher Deneen joined the RMIT Teaching and Learning Academy as a Senior Lecturer in Higher Education in February 2018.
His work with the Academy focuses on developing and supporting capacities in higher/tertiary assessment, feedback and research.
He is especially interested in innovative assessment design, assessment change leadership and how technology may support (and sometimes hinder) these two areas.

His early career in New York focused on teacher education and more broadly, higher degree program quality assurance, evaluation and development. From 2009-18 he worked in the culturally diverse settings of Hong Kong and Singapore.
His activities have spanned faculty development, teaching, program leadership, research team leadership, and higher-degree-by-research supervision.
