Dr Beni Halvorsen
Dr Beni Halvorsen joined RMIT's School of Management as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2015 – 2018. After finishing his Postdoctoral Fellowship, Dr Halvorsen was appointed to his current position as Lecturer, ECDF within the School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from the University of South Australia Business School's Centre for HRM (now CWeX). Prior to entering academia, Beni was employed in various roles in HR in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, as well as heading up his own consultancy.
Beni's research falls under two domains: human resource management and organisational behaviour. His research focuses specifically on diversity and employee turnover and retention; migrant, minority and under-represented employees' experiences in the workplace, and how HR practices can influence positive organisational outcomes.
