Dr Eugene Sebastian is Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor Business International at RMIT University.
In this role, he is responsible for leading the development of the College of Business' international strategy in relevant markets, working with universities, government and business communities.
Before joining RMIT, Eugene held a number of roles at Monash University, including Director Global Initiatives in the Vice Chancellor's Office and Associate Dean in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
In these roles, he led cross-institutional and multinational teams in securing large-scale international projects undertaken in partnership with universities, industry and governments in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and South American regions.
Prior to Monash, Eugene spent a decade at the University of Sydney leading in design, development and implementation of international development projects funded by AusAID, the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, UNDP, UNICEF and World Bank.
He also spent time working in the private sector developing commercial executive training programs for businesses in Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
