International student appeal form

International students can use this form to appeal some University decisions.

Information on appeals

Use the below form to appeal a decision regarding:

  • Application to transfer provider (release letter)
  • Intention to report due to unsatisfactory attendance
  • Leave of absence (LOA)
  • eCOE extension outcome.

How to lodge an appeal

  1. Lodge a written appeal (this form) within 20 working days of the notice of RMIT's decision. This form will be reviewed by the Associate Director, Enrolment and Student Records.
  2. Your written appeal must address the grounds, for which your application was initially denied.
  3. Attach and submit supporting documentation as evidence. This must be evidence which has not been previously provided.
  4. If you choose to lodge an appeal you must remain enrolled and attend all classes as normal until the process is complete.
