Declaration
  1. I declare that the information on this form is true and correct and that it is my responsibility to provide all the necessary documentation to support my request for refund.
  2. I understand that an authorised refund will be processed using the same method as the original payment e.g. if the payment was made by credit card, the refund will be processed to the same credit card and override any selection I have made on the form.
  3. If I paid my fees via any method except Credit Card, I acknowledge that if my bank details are not updated via Enrolment Online. If I do not update my bank details via Enrolment Online, RMIT is unable to commence my Refund request. If I am not currently enrolled, I am unable to access to Enrolment Online. I must declare my bank details on the Online Refund form.
  4. If I have not claimed my financial credit after 12 months, RMIT will report the fund to the State Revenue Office.
  5. I request that, in accordance with RMIT's refund policy, any outstanding fees and charges owing to RMIT be deducted from the credit amount before any refund is paid.
  6. If I reduce my study load in the first semester of study, I will not be eligible for a refund of the difference between the tuition fees I have paid for that semester and the tuition fees charged. Instead, the difference will appear as a credit in my student account.
  7. I understand I will receive a refund only if an amount remains in credit after all outstanding fees and charges have been paid in full.
  8. I agree that my refund will be made in AUD unless an alternative currency is required for a successful transfer of funds. RMIT is not responsible for any currency variations in foreign exchange rates.
  9. If I require any changes to be made, I will inform RMIT of these changes in writing.
  10. If I am an international student and my Visa extension is not granted by the Department of Immigration and Border Control, it is my responsibility to attach documentary evidence.
