After you apply

Your application will be assessed in line with RMIT’s policies and procedures. If you are successful, you will receive an offer letter.

Offer and Acceptance

Once you receive an offer, you can accept your offer via your online portal and you will be notified once RMIT has processed your acceptance. After you accept, you will need to pay using one of the methods below.

  • AUD credit card 
    You must accept your offer online before you pay. Use this secured link to pay.

Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)

If you plan to apply for a Student Visa, you will need a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).  RMIT will process your acceptance and provide you with an eCOE.

Courses outcome

The course outcome is a different process than the offer for the program.  When applying, you are required to list courses of your choice per semester of study. After academic assessment you will receive written confirmation of pre-approved and/or recommended courses for enrolment via email. This will be provided in a separate email than the offer letter. Please note that all courses are subject to availability, capacity and eligibility.  Specific enrolment instructions will be provided to you closer to the start of the program via email.

Orientation

The RMIT Study Abroad and Exchange Orientation Program is a three day event designed to prepare  all of our Exchange and Study Abroad students for theirnew study experience at RMIT.

During orientation you will timetable your classes, receive information on life at RMIT University and Melbourne and meet all of the other Study Abroad and Exchange students new to RMIT.

Orientation is a compulsory program for all Study Abroad and Exchange students. The dates for orientation will be provided in your offer letter.
