Mid-to-late Career Program

The Mid-to-late Career Program is oriented towards career pathways for female industry leaders, industry-based events and engagement opportunities.

The Mid-to-late Career Program includes:

  • The Breakfast Series to engage with industry experts to discuss career opportunities and pathways for women in the industry.
  • The Shadow Program, an opportunity to spend one day shadowing a senior manager, for candidates aspiring to become industry leaders.
  • The Industry Buddy Mentoring Program, matching up candidates with an individual industry 'buddy' in a senior role for scheduled monthly meetings.
  • The Plan and Return from Career Breaks Initiative will be a webinar session giving the WOMENG cohort the chance to engage with experts from Human Resources and career counsellors from the National Careers Institute on how to make the best choice when it comes to career interruptions.
  • A 1-day workshop at RMIT with inspirational speakers presenting on their journey to becoming a senior executive member of the road and airport engineering industry.
