RMIT FactLab is partnering with The Judith Neilson Institute for Journalism and Ideas (JNI), global think tank the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) and CASM Technology to deliver the Mosaic Project, an open-source misinformation debunking service available during the upcoming federal election.

An Australian first, the project combines cutting edge social media monitoring technology with experienced fact-checking expertise to track, trace and debunk disinformation in as close to real-time as possible.

Findings will be made available to newsrooms and the public through a range of distribution channels including a daily blog, the CheckMate newsletter, as well as TV, radio and print.
