Since graduating Nicola has worked at several private practice clinics, working collaboratively within teams of Allied Health Professionals that included Myotherapists, Remedial Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Doctors of Chinese Medicine, Psychologists and Naturopaths.

Overview

Nicola has been with RMIT since November 2020. She has joined with the Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy and the Diploma of Remedial Massage teams in the training and assessing space.

Industry experience

She brings to her teaching a broad network of contacts and eighteen (18) years industry experience as a practitioner of Remedial Massage and Myotherapy.

She has held several roles while working in the Vocational Education Sector, roles that have included:

  • Industry Relationship Builder with outside businesses (including General practice, Women's Health clinics, various sporting clubs including the Western Bulldogs AFL/WAFL teams)
  • Event Management and organisation
  • Clinical Supervision of Students
  • in-class teaching for four (4) years

In 2020 she upgraded her teaching currency qualifications by completing her Dual Diploma's; Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and Diploma of Training Design and Development which lead to joining the RMIT team in late 2020.
