Parents guide to COP

Receiving ATARs and results marks a pivotal time for students as they look at transitioning into tertiary studies. Whether your child has exceeded expectations or didn’t perform as hoped, understanding the Change of Preference process will assist you in providing reassurance in this often stressful time.

In this session, we will:

  • Provide tips to support your child during this time
  • Explain the Change of Preference process
  • Give you a breakdown on what you need to know about VTAC
  • Discuss different pathway options you may have if your ATAR and scores don't go to plan
  • Explain how to re-order preferences and what to consider
  • Give you the opportunity to ask our speakers any questions you may have

This is a perfect session if your child just finished year 12 and is looking to commence a course at RMIT.
