A Fairer Start Roundtable - ECP Post COVID-19 Initiatives

COVID-19 has taught us many things about empathy—recalibrating work, life and society. It has also amplified inequalities—highlighting areas we need to change especially the impact on vulnerable Australians. Please join us for a roundtable of key industry speakers to co-design new agendas for research in social innovation and inclusion.

To better understand the challenges and opportunities for the community, government and industry post COVID-19, panellists will identify key challenges and opportunities for a more inclusive and equitable future Australia.

Speakers

  • Kristen Hilton, EO, Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission
  • Bevan Warner, CEO, Launch Housing
  • Katherine Ellis, CEO, Youth Affairs Council Victoria
  • Bianca Brijnath - Director, Social Gerontology, National Ageing Research Institute (NARI)

A Fairer Start—like all ECP Starts—is underscored by the SDGs (UN Sustainable Development Goals) and will embrace the ethos of the Dhumbah Goorowa (commitment to share) approach. Each project acknowledges the importance of this commitment and embeds this shared future in their remit.
