Digital skills and cyber security - how do we secure our future?

Join this live event for the release of Report 4 in the Digital CBD series highlighting current gaps in digital skills and recommendations for the future, followed by a dynamic panel discussion with leading industry and academic experts.

This event is part of the Digital CBD Project research series which investigates the roadmap required for cities to become digital CBDs in a post-COVID world.

The event will launch the fourth report in the series which looks at the current gaps in digital skills and what is required in order for cities to evolve into secure and sustainable digital CBDs.

The report focuses on the analysis of a recent Melbourne survey of digital professionals, including ICT & cyber professionals, and their experiences before and during COVID in the digital skills space with insights into what is needed into the future.

These insights, combined with detailed research from experts in the field, form the basis for a number of recommendations outlined for the government/key policy makers to introduce in order for a digital CBD to become a reality.

An overview of Report 4 will be provided with key learnings before moving into a dynamic panel discussion with leading industry and academic experts as they discuss key aspects regarding the digital skills gap and the risk this causes to our current and future economy.
