Our short, intensive business transformation course empowers Small Medium Businesses in Melbourne CBD & Docklands to grow by finding and successfully reaching new customers.

Delivered in partnership with the City of Melbourne's Inner-City Business Support Initiative, this FREE two-week course is short and sharp, giving you practical solutions that can be implemented immediately.

  • Apply a critical view to your current customers to understand how their needs have changed
  • Learn techniques to identify new customers in your market
  • Gain skills to deepen your understanding of your customer’s needs and pain-points
  • Plan and conduct actionable customer research
  • Craft customer personas to help you and your team align
  • Develop a customer-centred marketing plan to reach your target customers

Cut through the noise

Cut through the noise and grow your customers quickly with our fast-paced, two-week course to find and reach new customers.

This course has been designed specifically by small business experts for small businesses.

With a hybrid delivery of half-day workshops and online content, you will find yourself wanting more!

You will have access to the content for six months after your competition date.

Key Selection Criteria

Who is eligible to apply?

To access business support services businesses must:

  • have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN).
  • an appropriate legal structure, such as an Australian registered company, business cooperative or partnership.
  • employ people, up to 50 FTE employees and be a participant in the Commonwealth Government’s JobKeeper Payment scheme be a ‘bricks and mortar’ business impacted by COVID-19 and located within the City of Melbourne municipal boundary, and within the post code areas of the CBD (3000), World Trade Centre (3005), Docklands, (3008) or Southbank (3006). Businesses physically located within co-working spaces, must be able to demonstrate they are located in this space at least 50% of the year.
