CBRE Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship

For undergraduate property and valuation students who can demonstrate academic achievement; worth $5,000 for one year.

The scholarship provides:

  • $5,000 for one year
  • A place in the CBRE Graduate Program, if selected
  • An opportunity to participate in CBRE NextGen events.

 

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Property and Valuation) (Honours) program at RMIT
  • be in your second, third or fourth year of study
  • have a  Grade Point Average (GPA) to date of 2.0 or higher
  • be willing to participate in an interview, if shortlisted*
  • be willing to participate in the CBRE graduate program, if selected
  • be willing to participate in CBRE NextGen events and be a liaison for these to the student cohort, if selected
  • be available to attend the RMIT School of Property, Construction & Project Management Awards Night (date TBC), if selected.

Preference will be given to students who identify as women and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

Application questions

It is expected that the online application will take approximately thirty minutes to complete. The main application questions are listed below to allow you time to prepare your answers in advance prior to starting the online application.

  • What motivated you to choose your RMIT program? Include the steps you have taken to achieve your educational goals.
  • What are your future plans and career aspirations?
  • What current challenges do you face in your studies and how will a scholarship help you overcome this?
  • What do you know about the CBRE and what would you hope to achieve in the CBRE Graduate Program (if selected)?
  • What future trend do you predict will shape the property industry and why?

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.

Only successful candidates will be notified via email to their RMIT student account.
