RMIT-CSIRO Masters by Research Scholarship in Knowledge Graphs and Scientific Workflows.

In this research Masters project, the latest KR (knowledge representation) concepts and technologies will be combined with scientific workflows to tackle AI problems in key domains such as bushfire modelling. The results of this research have real-world applications in several different impact areas including modelling national bushfire risk and resilience, and interventions on the Great Barrier Reef. 

 This CSIRO-RMIT co-funded scholarship provides a stipend of $32,841 per annum (pro-rata) for two years.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • have a first-class Honours or 2A Honours or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline of engineering/science
  • be an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident
  • provide evidence of adequate oral and written communication skills
  • demonstrate the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary research team
  • meet RMIT’s entry requirements for the master by research degree
