Introduction to the major

When you choose the People and Organisation major in the Bachelor of Business at RMIT University, you will learn how to deal with complex issues, lead teams and make business decisions applicable across a variety of organisational structures.

The People and Organisation major will provide you with valuable insights into the dynamics of individual and group behaviour within the workplace.

Understanding the dynamics of human behaviour and organisational systems allows people to make informed decisions and create strategies that drive employee engagement, inclusion, productivity and organisational success.

This major includes elements of talent acquisition and retention along with Health and Safety. This will enable you to further build your understanding of workplace policy and requirements to ensure you are ready to tackle the problems of organisations by providing you with insights into best practise to identity, attract and retain talent, which are essential for maintaining a skilled and engaged workforce within a safe and inclusive environment.
