A Greener Start ECP Post COVID-19 Initiatives Roundtable

Enabling a greener future that both mitigates and adapts to climate change and helps achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals

To better understand the challenges and opportunities for the community, government and industry post COVID-19, panellists will identify key challenges and opportunities for a more sustainable future, covering topics reflecting the major university-wide networks developed through the Enabling Capability Platforms:

  1. A sustainable future that achieves the UN's Sustainable Development Goals
  2. Urban Greening - Melbourne Water custodian of 33,000 hectares discussing the potential of this portfolio of assets to deliver biodiversity, heat island, sustainable transport and recreational benefits to the community and eco-system
  3. Solutions to achieving community-wide sustainable transportation
  4. Delivering energy efficient and low carbon housing
  5. Transitioning to renewable energy
