Business resilience in challenging times: A College of Business and Law webinar series

Join RMIT's College of Business and Law for a webinar series exploring business resilience in challenging times.

Led by a team of RMIT experts, you will walk away with practical advice on ways to recover as a business, the changes to come and how to best prepare for what's next. The first webinar will cover economic impact and recovery.

This webinar series will provide practical advice on the new normal for business in terms of business continuity, how we are going in terms of recovery and what business can take away to assist in their recovery.

Facilitated by Frank Kennedy, Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor Strategy & Innovation, this three-part series will feature experts from the College of Business and Law.

  • Professor Alberto Posso who will discuss how a prolonged crisis in the developing world is likely to hinder recovery in richer economies due to globalised supply chains. He suggests that microeconomic reforms in poorer economies could be a low-cost strategy to jump start global growth.
  • Professor Jonathan Battan will discuss the key difference between the economic and financial market impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent Global Financial Crisis, the widespread impact on profitability and sustainability for small enterprises, and the path forward.
  • Sanjay Mirchandani, Managing Director of Royal Nut Company will share his experience in terms of how the company has been impacted and measures they are putting in place to minimise risk and ensure business continuity.
