The panel will be moderated by Mish Eastman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Vocational Education at RMIT.

Mish has been responsible for developing and leading a renewed vision and strategic direction for vocational study at RMIT, including establishing the new College of Vocational Education and developing a 5-year strategic roadmap for vocational and applied learning.

Grant Marshall

Compliance Manager at Australia Post

With six Diploma and Certificates degrees from RMIT under his belt, Grant will share how the blend of technical knowledge with practical skills like problem solving, teamwork and adaptability helped him to succeed in a career working in the production, distribution and consumer services industry.

Grant studied the Diploma of Business Administration, Diploma of Logistics, Diploma of Leadership and Management, Diploma in Property Services, and the Certificate IV and Diploma in Work, Health and Safety.

Simone Deckers

Designer and maker at Femke Textiles

Simone studied Textile Design at RMIT in 2014 wanting to satisfy her creative cravings after a 15-year career working as a nurse. Simone says her RMIT degree set the foundation of having her dream career in design for the last seven years.

Simone studied the Diploma of Textile Design and Development.

Jack Brandwood

Senior Client Service Associate at Perpetual Limited

Studying a Diploma in PR and Communication in 2016 led Jack to securing a place in the Bachelor of International Business, Banking and Finance, and ultimately landing a job at financial services company Perpetual Limited.
