The EU Centre at RMIT presents a Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) Presentation for Research and Technology.
International collaboration is an important aspect of the research environment and can form an important component of academic career development. The European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technology (FP7) is the EU’s main instrument for funding research in Europe and it will run from 2007 to 2013. FP7 is designed to respond to Europe’s employment needs and competitiveness and supports research in selected priority areas.
The EU Centre is conducting a presentation/workshop on opportunities for research collaboration and funding for mobility to Europe. Rado Faletic from FEAST (the Forum for European-Australian Science and Technology cooperation) will provide a comprehensive coverage of the different Framework Program 7 programme’s.
The presentation will have broad appeal, and particular examples will be given in researcher mobility, ICT and food & biotech. Rado will also outline Horizon 2020, the successor to FP7, which begins in 2014.
We invite interested people to come along and contribute to our discussions. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions.
Dr Rado Faletic, Executive Director of FEAST
