The Global Employability Forum brings students, employers and community leaders together for a discussion as part of the annual Melbourne International Student Conference.
On average, a university student spends less than 25 contact hours on campus. Clearly, the student experience extends beyond the scope and capabilities of a university. Industry, city councils, community organisers, accommodation providers and employers all have a part to play in ensuring students are work-ready by the time they leave university.
Chaired by Phil Honeywood, CEO, International Education Association of Australia (IEAA), this forum will feature a diverse group of panelists including students, government representatives, peak industry bodies, employers and industry professionals.
