The Practice Research Symposium is a public event showcasing the research of PhD candidates enrolled at RMIT and other universities to undertake a Practice-Based PhD.
The Practice Research Symposium (PRS) in Europe is a twice-yearly gathering of research candidates enrolled at RMIT or a partner university to undertake a PhD by project in Design Practice Research.
The symposium's prime purpose is to be the tangible focus of a learning community and to facilitate the peer review of each candidate's progress. The symposium also includes the public examination presentations and exhibitions of the PhD candidates concluding the program.
The PRS provides a unique format for the ongoing, thorough and critical evaluation of the candidate's research development and for the examination of research projects to completion. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
