Come to the Queen Victoria Gardens and join this year’s cohort of RMIT School of Fashion and Textiles graduating designers as they present a celebratory runway show at MPavilion
This collaborative presentation, which seeks to challenge the world of fast fashion with a runway show that’s anything but typical, celebrates the 2017 cohort’s mastery of advanced fashion practice, typified by aesthetics that challenge established knowledge and languages of dress and fashion.
Each graduating designer will present their collections in a poetic and immersive showcase that responds to the stunning design of this year's MPavilion.
Each designer’s collection reflects upon the ‘feminine ideal’ in fashion, with a focused sensitivity towards unique and delicate material expressions.
In the form of a visual rendezvous and a moment of confrontation a designer’s look will encounter another, a gesture towards the harmonious power of the wearer.
Come and glimpse these emerging and exciting directions in fashion—and four poignant and diverse emerging design practices—on this spring evening at MPavilion.
Seating is limited with some reserved VIP seating inside the pavilion but there will be many opportunities to watch the show in and around the gardens so get in early!
