Write Night will celebrate RMIT's Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing (PWE) graduates for 2017.
Write Night is one of a series of events this year to bring together Associate Degree in Professional Writing and Editing second-year students and our many PWE alumni.
This event will not only celebrate the end of the two-year Associate Degree for many students, but provide another opportunity for all students to network with alumni and develop mentoring and work opportunities for the future.
The event is organised through the course Inside the Industry, which includes a focus on creating event management experience for students and the opportunity to develop communication and marketing plans for events.
Already this year, students have organised a range of outstanding events, including The Butterfly: Open Mic Night, the full-day Odyssey Line by Line Literary Festival, and Reading the Future: an event in association with Editors Victoria.
Write Night will include performances, readings and live projections of student writing and other creative work.
